TERMS AND CONDITIONS

If you would like to order a piece of jewellery please have a browse in the online shop on this website or contact me (the Maker) by email - hello@carolinefinlay.co.uk or phone or via private message on Instagram or Facebook.

I usually have some pieces in stock but if not please allow 2 to 3 weeks for a piece to be made to order.

Once a piece is ready to post I'll email you an Invoice which you can pay by BACS, or PAYPAL.

Hygiene and Peace of Mind

All pieces can be washed in hand hot soapy water and dried with a tissue or soft towel.

The Maker ensures all pieces are clean before they are sent out and if necessary will use an ultrasonic cleaner or steam cleaning to treat pieces if they have been handled by anyone other than the Maker.

Materials and Techniques

Materials used are Sterling Silver, Vitreous Enamel and Semi-precious Beads.

Pieces either have a polished silver surface, a satin finished silver surface or are oxidised (dark grey).

All jewellery is Hallmarked at The Edinburgh Assay Office with the exception of some pieces weighing under 7.8 grams - as allowed by law (UK)

Jewellery is made by hand with various stages involved in the manufacture. Due to the nature of these jewellery making and enamelling techniques, no two pieces are identical. There are natural variations that add to the character of this unique jewellery.

Jewellery is individually presented in the Maker's logo’d boxes.

Jewellery will be packaged securely and sent by insured post, requiring a signature upon delivery. The Maker is responsible for the order until it is delivered and signed for.

Rings can be made to any standard size but once made, the size cannot be altered.

Different enamel colours can be requested but once made to order, cannot be returned or exchanged.

Returns

If you are not entirely satisfied with your order, please contact the Maker. You may return it in it’s original packing within 14 days of receipt. You will have to pay the return postage costs - it is recommended you use Royal Mail Special Delivery otherwise there is no guarantee the Maker will receive it. Once the work is received in perfect condition, you will receive an exchange or refund as agreed.

The Maker shall retain all rights in and title to the items of jewellery until sale, when title shall pass directly to the purchaser.

Copyright and all intellectual property in the items of jewellery remain with the Maker.
