Classes in 2026 - Caroline recently moved studios and her new studio isn't large enough to run classes from but she will be running two weekend classes later on this year in St.Andrews, Fife.

Dates are 19th & 20th September and 3rd & 4th October 2026.

Caroline Finlay is an experienced jewellery teacher who spent 20 years as a Lecturer in Jewellery Design & Making before setting up her full-time business as a designer-maker and private teacher over 10 years ago.

She works from her studio in a renovated railway station in Burntisland, Fife, Scotland. Unfortunately her new studio isn't large enough to allow her to teach jewellery making classes from but she is running two classes in Autumn 2026 from East Neuk Studios in St.Andrews, Fife, Scotland, UK and hopes to follow this with more classes in 2027.

Class numbers will be small; up to 6 students which allows everyone plenty of one to one tuition time and space to work.

Classes will be offered on a first come basis and will run with a minimum of 4 learners. If classes fill up quickly please contact Caroline to join a waiting list.

Classes will be focussed on Enamelling techniques such as creating pattern and surface textures in Enamelling and will be suitable for beginners or those wishing to improve their enamelling skills and knowledge. For more information please click on the link below.

Just wanted to say thank you very much for the jewellery course last weekend - it was everything I hoped it would be and more. It felt a lot more like being shown how to make something beautiful in the company of friends, rather than a formally rigid course. There was a definite structure there, but there was also the flexibility and fluidity to allow the teaching to move in the direction of what the students were wanting to do, and where they demonstrated their strengths.
