This statement brooch has been created by hand using traditional jewellery making and enamelling techniques in a playful and contemporary way.
The narative seascape design is inspired by the Scottish coastline and enhanced by a dark night sky and full moon that reflects on the sea.
This is a one-off piece. Caroline works spontaneously with texturing and mark making and kiln firing the enamel and often the initial idea changes in the making process meaning no two pieces are alike.
The striking design and colour makes for a statement brooch that looks great on a coat or jacket.       
The fine 0.9mm stainless steel pin can be worn on most fabrics.   
This piece has a good weight to it.
