Machair, a Gaelic word meaning fertile, low-lying grassy plain. It is a unique habitat, rich in a variety of native plants that is one of the rarest in Europe; only occurring on the exposed west-facing shores of Scotland and Ireland.

Handprinted on 300g Hahnemuhle, handmade paper with deckled and torn edges.
Handmade Mulberry paper is used for the chine colle.
