This stunning, abstract necklace features 3 asymetric, organic shaped pendants and a handmade long link chain.
The pendants have been textured in the studio using traditional jewellery mark making techniques that echo patterns and surface texture found on the coastline.
Caroline is particularly inspired by island coastlines in the Scottish Hebrides Islands with their distinct light, colour and weathered textures.
The blue-grey, lichen, stone and white enamel has been built up in layers and then rubbed back and matt finished to convey the weathered and textured inspiration.
The silver has been oxidised to a dark grey finish which enhances the enamel colour and texture.
